Broadband Better
March 07, 2011
Industrial design consultancy Tiller Design was commissioned by Australian internet provider iiNet to put body to its latest iteration in broadband.
While being billed as BoB’s little brother – BoB Lite™ brings modernity to a tried and trusted technology without sacrificing the offering, and making it more affordable for users.
“BoB Lite™ is a good example of how Tiller Design works with clients to create meaningful products and memorable experiences that give lasting value to businesses and their customers.” – Robert Tiller.
Working with iiNet’s internal R&D team at iiNet Labs, the Tiller Design team developed BoB Lite™ in just 4 months, from idea to product availability.

Bigger Better Broadband
March 07, 2011
The quality assurance and systems that back Tiller Design and Tiller Scientific + Medical have proved invaluable for iiNet. Fast on the heels of BoB Lite™ comes BoB2 (BoB’s big brother if you will).
Meeting the needs of a different segment and more advanced than previous iterations, BoB2 is a new all-in-one internet and phone solution, to be made available for customers by April.
Working again with iiNet Labs, the Tiller Design team employed considerable plastics engineering and design skills to give a fresh compelling feel and intuitive approach to complex electronics; ensuring the final product delivers an exceptional user experience.
BoB2 is designed to capitalise on the National Broadband Network. It combines the winning features of BoB, with integrated and detachable phone, built-in answering machine, improved VOIP connectivity, video streaming and is fetchtv compatible.
