Case
Study 1 Irrigation and sewer monitoring device Our client, a leader in measuring and control equipment came to us for advice on the redesign and ensuing production of an existing product. During the briefing it became clear that an opportunity existed to develop a new product which could be aligned with two existing products. The synergistic effect of the combined equipment would provide considerable benefits for their customers. ![]() Tiller + Tillers first task was to evaluate the potential to manufacture the existing product and then to analyse the costs, problems which might be encountered in sourcing supply, methods of assembly and so on. From this overall consideration, a comprehensive solution was outlined.
The monitoring device
was subsequently awarded the Australian Design Mark and selected
by the Japanese Design Council to be exhibited in Tokyo in 2000. |
