Tiller Design Pty Ltd provides specialist Industrial Design services. Our team is professional, experienced and responsible for many successful products in the global market. Tiller Design’s highly skilled team designs and develops products that are delivered into international markets, meeting the most stringent global standards.
Using proprietary project management plans, every detail of how the project will be managed is considered – before pen goes to paper, or hands to models.
At no point will your vision and the bigger commercial picture be lost – risks are managed, costs are controlled and timelines are met. Project management allows regular reporting of progress and milestones.

Quality is assured using our sister company Tiller Scientific+Medical's Quality Management System. This quality system was developed for the medical, scientific and military market places and follows ISO9001 and ISO 13485.
Cross disciplinary skills are also available under one roof, for example full electronics and firmware development and product certification to coincide with product design.

The Portable BBQ's Cultural Advance Continues

Neo Buddy and E2go portable BBQ’s from Everdure, have just been short listed in this years Australian International Design Awards.
Designed by Tiller Design with the passion only of the thought of a hot summer afternoon on the beach can muster. We are thrilled that this range of BBQ’s has reached the design awards shortlist.
With the same cultural impact an innovative kimchi fridge has in Korea, these BBQ’s are set to bring that wafting smell of steak to a park near you.
Sorry to all the vegetarians out there - we did provide split hot plates so you can enjoy a veggie burger or two.

Congratulations Jo!

It is always exciting when one of our designers gets their work recognised.
Joseph Ormrod - Senior Industrial Designer with Tiller Design was a finalist in this years entrants. Making the top 10 with his elegant Genus-Side Table, Jo made enough money to buy us all a drink and have plenty of change for… well, we are still waiting to here what he spent it on.

There Just Isn’t Enough Shrimp.

Tiller Design have been working very closely with Everdure to redesign a complete range of BBQ’s. This month we see the NEO range of Barbecue’s launched with exceptional success.
There are a couple for things close to all the hearts of our team. One is good food and the other is something to cook it on while sharing a beer. We have had a great time working with everyone at Everdure and enjoyed all the product testing, in fact its such an important element to good design we have decided to test all the BBQ’s at least once a week, if you’re passing the office and can smell something delicious drop in.

Nubian Grey Water Cuts Water Usage By 45%
Tiller Design
Tiller Design worked with Nubian systems through 2006 to create a highly efficient greywater recycling product. Robert Tiller is a happy customer of one of the first units.
In the climate of severe water restrictions Roberts house now recycles up to 65% of its water using one of the Nubian systems. Total water consumption is now lower than a single person dwelling according to Sydney water statistics. Not bad for a three person house with a thirsty vegie patch.

Avega Win at CES 2006
Tiller Design
Tiller Design helped Avega win a ‘best of’ award at CES 2006 in Las Vegas with the beautiful Oyster wireless speakers.
These speakers feature wireless connectivity (801.11 a/b/g), support for DTS, 5.1 surround as well as MP3, OGG, WMA, AAC and FLAC digital audio formats. They also feature 2 S/PDIF optical connectors and USB port for wired connections. The speakers can play digital audio streamed directly from your computer as well as from traditional HiFi components. Listeners can control, browse select and play media from their computers or Avega’s hand held controller.
The first CES took place back in 1967, CES features not only consumer electronic products, but also the companies and people behind them.
