Tiller Design had a big night in Seattle, USA over the weekend. Gold in the Industrial Design Society of America’s [IDEA 2015 Awards](http://www.idsa.org/awards/idea/flip-reel-squiddies), and at the same event, The Henry Ford Curator’s Choice, both for the [Flip Reel by Squiddies™](http://squiddies.tv).

Flip Reel is a new take on hand line fishing, winning this year at the 50th anniversary of IDSA, and is one of only 23 gold winners out of 1700 entrants. This win is in many ways the simplest way I can share how brilliant our team is. Forgive the blatant boast, but its appropriate here I think, and I want to share my pride in the people who work with me in Tiller Design. IDSA Gold means after going through international design review – competing with the biggest brands and companies on the planet – we are on the top level of excellence. Only twenty three Gold Awards were given and only one is chosen for the Henry Ford Curator’s Choice. Of course, awards are great, but the real excitement comes from using the Flip Reel, try one yourself. -Robert Tiller
