Product design consultancy Tiller Design has been asked to enter the iCASTS® into the 2011 Designpreis Deutschland (The Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany), one of the world’s prestigious design awards. Entry for product development companies is by Government invite only. iCASTS® , developed in conjunction with iCinema Centre at UNSW, is similar to a giant, sophisticated computer game; recreating real-world environments and scenarios for specialist training. Last year iCASTS® won Gold at the International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) in the USA.
